About the Role:

• Development of the next-generation network security and threat management product suite
• Own significant areas of the code for both new feature/functionality development and to maintain and improve parts of the existing products and platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to develop new and improve on existing features
• Documenting business requirements and coming up with the technical solutions
• Continuous focus and contribution in the areas of performance, availability & scalability, reliability, and maintainability of the product
• Active participation in our ongoing process enhancements, migration to native cloud technologies, and software development practices

About You:

• 10+ years of software development experience in one or more general purpose programming languages
• Experience in Unix/Linux environments, large-scale distributed software systems, and cloud technologies.
• Thorough knowledge of Linux with C/Python/Golang programming
• Knowledge of docker containers, Kubernetes, native cloud technology stack, or public clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.) is required.
• Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, & analysis skills
• Ability to understand, consume, and integrate with OSS and 3rd party APIs
• Knowledge of high availability in distributed Linux environments is a plus.
• Experience with agile programming and rapid prototyping is a plus
• Interested and able to learn other languages or technologies as needed
• Working proficiency and communication skills in verbal and written English
• BS/MS in computer science or equivalent experience

Base Pay Range: $157,500 - $292,500. Actual base pay within this range will depend on varying circumstances, including the work location, individual qualifications, company budget and other operational business needs. Compensation may also include annual bonuses and long-term incentives, subject to various metrics and company policy.
