Your Role and Responsibilities
We are IBM ZOS (Z Operating System) Platform Management professional working on Z Enterprise Systems and we build the most secure systems for our Banking and Enterprise customers to deploy their mission critical applications. Also We provide utmost security and Data management on Z systems. The mission critical applications run on zOS and all the Platform management / Simplification is taken care by a IBM ZOS product. The platform Simplification / Modernisation product mainly focus on HCD IO configuration and zArchitecture. IOCP knowledge is useful. This would help customers to support zOS IO configuration with a unified and simple to use platform – which enhances the overall user experience.

• To Build the world most secure system via Z systems which helps customers to deploy their application also provide a platform to deploy Private Cloud Stand alone systems hosting mission critical application also to defend againist threats like Cyber Threats etc and making the enablement experience quicker and easier.
• Architect Design and Develop Features related to zOS platform Management & simplification related to IBM Z IO Configuration.
• Develop platform management software to enhance user experience
• Modernise User interface for a simplified and unified customer experience.”

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 5+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Experience with the Software Development life cycle; coding unit test function or component test system test and integration test
• Strong C programming & strong data structure skills.
• Git/Github
• Self driven to learn z/OS z/VM System Z Mainframe
• Assembler programming preferably z/OS based or other architecture based
• PLX/PL1 (good to have) or should be ready to learn.
• Good to have – System z Assembler z/OS basics z/VM basics
• Experience with I/O Configuration (IOCP zArchitecture etc.)
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting
• Good communicaiton skills and should be able to contribute in a global team environment

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• zOS Assembler PLX JCL Rexx Java Javascript Unix system scripting Shell/Python.
• zOS architecturezVM Basics System programming Hybrid Cloud Network Management and Virtualisation
• Knowledge of PSIRT process”
