The successful candidate for this position will have a strong passion for designing and implementing edge-based solutions for new and/or existing applications and storage. Staff System Engineer Edge Solutions Position Requirements:

• Must currently hold an active TS/SCI Clearance
• 11-13 years of relevant work experience
• Demonstrated knowledge in automation and development; Experience with Python, Tcl, Bash, and Powershell scripting. Experience with Ansible/Tower and GitLab for configuration management and version control
• Experience with virtualization and containerization technologies. VMware, XenServer/XCP-ng, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift
• Working knowledge of the OSI model and understanding of the interactions and dependencies of different layers
• Experience with application load balancing, proxy configurations, and other traffic routing tools including F5 Networks, NGINX, or HA Proxy. Including web authentication methods such as SAML or OAUTH
• Strong System Administration background for Windows 10, Windows Server 2016, and RHEL 7/8 (or equivalent)
• Primary work location National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency-East, limited telecommuting available
• Security + Certification

Staff System Engineer Edge Solutions Preferences:

• Experience in System Administration of multiple operating systems
• Strong experience with Automation, Development, and Data Manipulation
• Implementing security architecture based on Enterprise mandated security services
