Staff Systems Administrator
Job Description
In this position, Information Systems Administrator will build, configure and maintain systems that adhere to government regulations.
What you'll do as a Systems Administrator:
- Executes security scanning and the analysis of the scan results
- Maintain file servers, network access, document, and analyze system anomalies to ensure optimum equipment performance.
- Prepares system for operational use and supports operational tests
- Supports secure maintenance and continuous monitoring
- Provides technical support to users
Staff Systems Administrator Requirements
- U.S. citizenship and be eligible for a Top Secret Security Clearance
- 8-10 years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree
- Possess a DoD 8570 IAM-I level professional certification (i.e. Security +) or have the ability to obtain the certification within six (6) months of hire
- Strong understanding of computer operating systems (Windows and Linux), software, and computer hardware
- Working knowledge of and experience with Cisco routers, firewalls, and switches
Staff Systems Administrator Preferences:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Experience with security assessment/hardening tools, i.e. STIGs, SCAP, ACAS, etc.
- Experience working on Government approved secure systems
- Security+ Certification
- Cisco Certification
