Trusted by hundreds of multinational employers, health plans, and health systems, Carrot's comprehensive clinical program delivers industry-leading cost savings for employers and award-winning experiences for millions of people worldwide. The Role:

The engineering team at Carrot Fertility is seeking a Staff Technical Program Manager (TPM) to level up our organizational hygiene. This will be accomplished by creating and maintaining tools and frameworks to make company objectives clear, leveling up our work systems, and partnering with key leaders in the product organization to influence change and identify future alignment opportunities. The right person will have tremendous relationship management skills; a deep understanding of organizational design and project management; strong product sense; a commitment to nuance, context, and quality; and an appetite for wrangling complex, intersecting systems, and priorities.

The Team:

In this role, you’ll report to Carrot’s SVP, Engineering, and work closely with key leaders throughout the product and engineering organization as well as other key stakeholders of our product roadmap.

You Will

  • Create and maintain tools and frameworks that make goals and objectives clear
  • Level up our work systems to meet the current needs of our teams
  • Partner with key leaders in the organization to curate your own backlog focusing on the first two bullet points
  • Research and curate suggestions for the organizational evolution of both teams' structures and roles based on the intersection of industry best practices and our current business needs.
  • Roll up your sleeves when systems and roles need additional support while always keeping your enablement plan in mind to ensure you can step back and move on to the next initiative.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least five years of experience integrating industry best practices into organizational processes at scale
  • A record of influencing leadership in matrix organizations
  • Demonstrated ability to enrich a team's culture and cross-functional partnerships
  • Nuanced perspective on work management systems and objectives alignment
  • Extensive technical experience in work management tools like Jira and Productboard.
  • Uncommon empathy and listening skills, particularly with regard to quiet or marginalized voices
  • Exacting attention to both technical and organizational detail
  • Substantial experience collaborating with manager-level and above leaders in an organization
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills across different contexts

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least five years of experience integrating industry best practices into organizational processes at scale
  • A portfolio of visualization/diagram strategies to promote alignment. A picture is worth a thousand words
  • Sensitivity to the challenges of fertility health and family forming around the world
  • Experience in other roles that you’ll be looking to level-up such as product, design, engineering, or program management

Compensation:

Carrot offers a holistic Total Rewards package designed to support our employees in all aspects of their life inside and outside of work, including health and wellness benefits, retirement savings plans, short- and long-term incentives, parental leave, family-forming assistance, and a competitive compensation package. The expected base salary for this position will range from $142,000 - $195,000. Actual compensation may vary from posted base salary depending on your confirmed job-related skills and experience.
