We seek a strong technical leader who can lead a team focused on automated non-functional testing. You will have a great influence on the whole quality assurance process and methodology to build the team from scratch which conducts performance, load, fault tests, etc. The ideal candidate is a quality assurance leader with a deep understanding of varying testing techniques and the ability to develop new methods through out-of-the-box thinking. 

You Will :

• Provide thorough technical leadership in designing and developing testing frameworks for various types of tests, such as fault, long-running, performance, etc.
• Establish team metrics for measurement of quality and operational excellence and a consistent, regular process for assessment and improvements
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand customer journeys and develop automated test suites focusing on user experience.
• Must interface with SE and PM org to understand and document complex customer use case scenarios
• Attitude to deep dive into customer conversation/escalations & gather insight on the use case. Build test strategies, processes, and automation frameworks, incorporating feedback from real-world customer deployments.
• Actively participate and provide technical inputs during the product development cycle.
• Develop and enhance the REST API/UI automation framework, write and review testing code, debug failures, and integrate applications with third-party web services.
• Stay up-to-date with the industry innovation & use the latest tech stack to enforce best practices across the board.

You Are:

• Able to take on very complex problems, learn quickly, iterate, and persevere toward a robust solution
• Product-focused and passionate about building truly usable systems
• Collaborative and comfortable working across teams including data engineering, front end, product management, and DevOps
• Responsible and like to take ownership of challenging problems
• A good communicator, and facilitates teamwork via good documentation practices
• Comfortable with ambiguity and thrive in designing algorithms for evolving needs
• Intuitive in using the right type of models to address different product needs
• Curious about the world and your profession, constant learner

You Have

• 10+ years of product quality and automation experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field,
• Expertise in Python and automated REST API/UI testing.
• Experience in networking (NMAP, SNMP, Sensors), Big data technologies (Apache Spark, Apache Kafka), and Databases (SQL).
• Strong Linux admin-level knowledge.
• Strong experience and knowledge of microservices, distributed systems, and performance optimizations Knowledge of Public cloud providers such as Aws/Azure/GCP.
• Working knowledge of VMWare. Install, configure, and manage virtual instances.
• Preferred: cybersecurity, experience in AI/ML testing
