Responsibilities:

Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical statistician to join our team on a part-time, contract basis. In this role, you will provide independent verification of statistical operations performed by a data analysis team, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of performance data analysis for our programs dedicated to children and families. This position offers a competitive hourly rate and the opportunity to contribute to the success and impact of the programs.

Review and verify statistical operations conducted by the data analysis team, ensuring their accuracy and compliance with established methodologies.

Identify any discrepancies or inconsistencies in the data analysis process and provide constructive feedback to the team for improvement.

Collaborate with the data analysis team to enhance the quality and reliability of performance metrics used in the programs.

Prepare clear and concise reports summarizing your findings and recommendations for management and other stakeholders.

Stay informed of best practices and emerging trends in statistical analysis to ensure our methodologies remain up-to-date and relevant.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field. (Master's degree preferred)

Minimum of 2 years of experience in statistical analysis, data auditing, or a similar role.

Proficiency in statistical software packages such as R, SAS, or Python.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide clear feedback and work collaboratively with a team.

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.

Reporting Structure: The Statistical Operations Auditor will report directly to the Project Manager responsible for overseeing the data analysis project.

Compensation and Benefits: This part-time, contract position offers a competitive hourly rate commensurate with experience.
