Cosm Internship Program

Are you ready to make your mark in the professional world? Cosm's ten-week summer internships offer exciting opportunities for personal and professional growth. As an intern, you'll work on projects with real-world impact and attend weekly learning sessions. You'll also get to participate in an "Ask Me Anything" (AMA) session with company leadership and visit our Experience Center in Salt Lake City for a hands-on experience with our products and next-generation innovations. 

Our fast-paced yet supportive environment will challenge and inspire you to take your skills to the next level. 

STEAM content creator interns working at Cosm will gain valuable writing and community outreach experience and have exposure to our worldwide science & education community. We’re looking for interns who want to earn summer money and develop experience and skills that will allow them to work or collaborate with informal and formal education easily. Interns will learn the world’s leading digital planetarium software, Digistar; research STEAM topics to create guided lessons utilizing our built in STEM visualizations; and present their work using groundbreaking immersive technology. The internship includes fun events throughout the summer as well.

Reports to: Training Lead, Science & Education

Location: Salt Lake City

Program Dates: Interns will work up to 240 hours between 06/05/2023 to 08/25/23

The hourly rate for this role is $16.50 per hour

Responsibilities:

STEAM content creator interns working at Cosm will gain valuable writing and community outreach experience and have exposure to our worldwide science & education community. We’re looking for interns who want to earn summer money and develop experience and skills that will allow them to work or collaborate with informal and formal education easily. Interns will learn the world’s leading digital planetarium software, Digistar; research STEAM topics to create guided lessons utilizing our built in STEM visualizations; and present their work using groundbreaking immersive technology. Qualifications:

• Junior or Senior standing by the start of the program.
• Background or education in a STEAM field.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Interest in immersive technology and content.
• Must be able to work onsite in Salt Lake City, UT for the summer.
