Steel Fabricator/Welder

About Us: Black Security Products is opening a new facility and we’re looking for a skilled and reliable individual to join our team as aWelder/Fabricator/Shop Laborer. Job Responsibilities: • Weld bothsteel and aluminummaterials using appropriate techniques (MIG/TIG as required) • Read and interpretblueprints, technical drawings, and fabrication specs • Accurately fabricate products according to drawings and job requirements • Assist withgeneral shop dutiesas needed, including material handling, cleaning, and equipment maintenance • Operate basic shop tools and equipment safely and effectively • Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of jobs Requirements: • Proficient in welding steel and aluminum • Ability to read and understand fabrication drawings and blueprints • Strong attention to detail and quality • Willingness to assist in all areas of the shop beyond just welding/fabrication • Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team • Must follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized workspace Preferred Qualifications (not required): • Previous experience in a fabrication or welding shop • Familiarity with common shop tools and equipment (e.g., Drills, Grinders, Saws) • Forklift certification or ability to operate material handling equipment Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour Benefits: • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Life insurance • Paid time off • Vision insurance Application Question(s): • Why are you applying for this role?
