Steel Manufacturing Worker - Elevator Components Location: Greenpoint, Brooklyn, NY Employment Type: Full-Time Pay Range: $20 - $40 per hour (based on experience) Shift: Day shift, Monday - Friday (6:00 AM - 2 PM) Job Description: We are seeking a Steel Manufacturing Worker to join our team in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, specializing in the production of elevator components for new construction installations. This role involves fabricating and assembling steel parts, ensuring precision and durability. Attitude matters more than job experience. On the job training. Responsibilities: • Operate machinery such as press brakes, shears, and welding equipment to cut, shape, and assemble steel components. • Read technical drawings, and specifications to produce elevator parts like frames, brackets, and supports. • Inspect finished products for accuracy and adherence to quality standards. • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following all safety protocols. • Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and project requirements.
