Sterile Processing Manager

Reportingto the Director of Surgical Services, this position is responsible for the managementof the Sterile Processing Department staff and coordinating the day-to-dayactivities of the Sterile Processing Department. Responsibilities include butare not limited to ensuring established procedures and standards of practiceare followed for decontamination, cleaning, and processing, and ensuresconsistent appropriate sterilization of instrumentation and equipment.

EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE:

1. High schoolgraduate or equivalent preferred.

2. Bachelor's degreepreferred.

3. Three years ofcentral processing experience required; five years preferred

4. Training in steriletechnique, the care and handling of surgical instruments, and instrumentidentification preferred.

5. Three to fiveyears supervisory experience preferred.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES:

1. CBSPD or HSPA CRCSTcertification.

2. MAB is requiredto be completed on the first day of work. (Grandfathered: existingemployees must complete new requirements by 6/9/2025.)
