Storage Scale Project Manager

Introduction
As Project Manager focusing on IBM Storage Scale and the Storage Scale System you will contribute to the de development and support of a state-of-the-art cluster file system geared towards High Performance Computer (HPC) Cloud Big Data & Analytics Artificial Intelligence Machine Learning and Deep Learning workloads. Storage System and Storage Scale are deployed in many of the world’s largest commercial deployments. We’re looking for a talented project manager to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for the ESS/Scale program activities related with security legal and POs.

Your Role and Responsibilities

• Manage the project team’s day to day operation.
• Manage the cross-functional projects with aggressive agenda.
• Manage deliverables and timeline
• Provide project estimates for footprint timeline and schedule requirements
• Be an interface to collect technical challenges from various team and communicate the issue to unblock team’s delivery.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Software Development Experience: Must have a background in software development or support to effectively drive engaging developer enrichment programs.
• Project Management Experience: Applied project management experience managing large multidisciplinary and highly visible projects.
• Project Management Proficiency: Familiarity with various project management tools and proven experience working with Linux or Unix-based operating systems to facilitate efficient project execution.
• Fluent level of English

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• PMP Certification preferred
• Experience working in the Storage Development Products
