As a consultative client-facing technical sales professional you will be guided by IBM’s purpose –to be essential to its clients – actively engaging clients to develop the trust and credibility to help them grow their businesses by solving strategic and tactical business problems with IBM’s proven storage solutions.
We are looking for individual who is passionate about making a significant impact in selling IBM’s storage
You’ll also be responsible for navigating IBM to identify and acquire critical resources needed to develop the best solution for the client while applying IBM brand strategies and offerings methods and models to ensure world-class design and delivery. Not only do our salespeople sell some of the world’s most innovative IT and business solutions (analytics cognitive solutions cloud commerce internet of things security social systems hardware systems software or Watson health) but they also get to interact with clients in a wide array of fields. Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Extensive experience working with HPE EMC Storage Pure Storage Dell/EMC Infinidat or HDS.
- Skilled in provocative consultative selling with an understanding of the client’s needs and IBM capabilities.
- Commercially minded and capable of supporting end-to-end sales engagements with the ability to think plan and act strategically.
- Extensive networking and interpersonal skills in complex environments
- Extensive experience in IT Technical Pre-Sales.
- Good communication skills.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Readiness to travel 50% travel annually.
- English: Fluent.
