The Role:
Due to the significant growth that Paro is experiencing, our sales department is looking to add a Strategic Account Executive with an outbound focus to the team. As our client base has moved upstream to the middle market we are seeking a motivated business development professional who has the expertise to replicate our successful case studies and expand our client portfolio. The role is responsible for acquiring new clients through a defined outbound sales process, and encompasses the full sales cycle from establishing initial contact to closing deals.
Core Responsibilities:
- Build a healthy sales pipeline, supported by targeted investments in campaigns co-designed with the Strategic Account Executive and Marketing Department
- Close net new business using a consultative sales approach to meet and exceed quarterly quota targets
- Innate account planning ability to land & expand new accounts via upsells and cross-sells
- Leverage a consultative selling approach to build relationships with business leaders and provide reliable Paro solutions allowing their companies to operate more effectively and profitably
How you’ll add value:
- Have 5+ years of B2B sales experience, with at least 2-3 in a predominantly/entirely outbound capacity
- Established as a top performer at most recent/current employer
- Thrive in a consultative and strategic sales role - Paro’s sales process is not transactional!
- Will be ambitious, able to build trust, motivated, think outside the box
- Are accountable for building their own sales pipelines
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Possess exceptional listening, organization, presentation, and business strategy skills
- Nice to have but not required: experience selling to VC/PE firms and their portfolio companies

Benefits at Paro:
- The base salary for this role is $75,000 with uncapped commission.
- Benefits - We offer a comprehensive benefits package including: medical (Blue Cross Blue Shield), dental, vision, and a 401(k) plan. Paro currently does not match 401(k).
- Vacation - We offer our employees unlimited vacation, as we believe rest and recharging allows you to bring your full self into work. In addition to unlimited vacation, we observe all federal holidays and offer unique Paro Holidays during months there isn’t a federal holiday
