What You’ll Bring To The Team:

The Strategic Account Executive will be responsible for managing and nurturing client relationships in top 10 Pharma to drive satisfaction, retention, and growth. They will serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, understanding their needs, and proactively addressing any issues or concerns. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in account management, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for clinical trial innovation.  They will be capable of orchestrating meetings with senior executives and will be able to develop and communicate compelling strategic growth plans.   They will be the liaison between the customer and our Implementation, Customer Success, Product and Product Adoption teams to help guide customers toward successful adoption of the Florence suite of products.  They will meet sales growth targets based on ARR.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, serving as their trusted advisor and advocate within the company.  Build strong relationships at the senior executive level across departments, from clinical operations to innovation to IT.   
  • Account Growth: Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional products or services to existing clients to maximize account value.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Monitor client satisfaction and proactively address any issues or concerns to ensure a positive experience and maintain high levels of customer retention.
  • Account Planning: Develop and execute account plans tailored to each client's needs and objectives, including regular check-ins and reviews.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including sales, customer support, and product development, to ensure client needs are met and issues are resolved in a timely manner.
  • Market Insights: Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer feedback to provide valuable insights and contribute to product development and marketing strategies.
  • Reporting: Prepare regular reports on account status, including sales forecasts, activity updates, and customer feedback, to management and relevant stakeholders.

An Ideal Candidate Has:

  • 7+ years experience as a Strategic Account Manager in the clinical operations software industry
  • Experience working with Top 20 global pharma companies at the senior executive level
  • Leadership skills in change management to help large organizations adopt new technology
  • Ability to navigate organizations at the strategic level to develop strong business value based relationships
  • Comfort with analyzing data and presenting compelling conclusions in customer Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR)
  • Experience developing account plans and utilizing them to drive success measured through NPS scores, renewals and upsells
  • The ability to map Florence Healthcare’s offerings against customer needs and to identify new opportunities within defined accounts
  • Experience as the Voice of the Customer to company leadership
  • Excellent problem-solving, written communication and presentation skills
