The RoleAmperity's Strategic Sales Team is a key part of our sales organization. The team's mandate is to engage the largest enterprise consumer brands across the U.S. while pushing the boundaries of Amperity's defined Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) and product set. Reporting into our VP, Strategic Sales, you will manage complex enterprise sales cycles and coordinate with Amperity's internal resources and external partners to progress opportunities to contract. The team's primary responsibilities include:
- Build new business sales within a named set of Strategic Accounts
- Expand existing relationships with Amperity's top customers
- Collaborate with Product Accelerator team to test and sell new products to both existing and prospective customers
Responsibilities
- Lead Business Development on named Growth Accounts
- Strategize with the Solution Engineering team to convey technical capabilities & how Amperity complements your prospects' existing technical stack
- Collaborate with marketing and & SDR on campaigns that move the sales pipeline
- Define and manage Amperity's sales plan for your named accounts
- Scope, quote, negotiate, and close complex transactions
- Manage sales activity and pipeline to meet revenue targets and our goals
- Communicate traction, friction, and feedback from the field to lead customer engagements forward
- Manage daily and weekly activities, pipelines, forecasts, and closed deals to ensure above-quota results based on successful pipeline management
- Partner with multiple teams including marketing, pre-sales, product, professional services, finance, and legal to:
- Identify, document, and address customer pain points through consultative engagements and share feedback with the Amperity Product team
- Establish use cases, with input from Amperity Product and Client Service teams, that align with Amperity capabilities
- Present the value of Amperity software to senior executives across marketing, data, and IT
- Mobilize a broad team of Amperity and partner technical domain experts through complex sales cycles and customer needs
- Build long-lasting relationships with Fortune 100 customer partners
- Promote Amperity as an Industry Expert:
- Promote the Amperity vision through product demonstrations and events, including speaking engagements and tradeshows
- Help define new models and processes to grow our business as a holistic team player
- Partner with Amperity Product team to tell and promote new solutions
- Provide advice to customers & prospects on industry trends, competing and complementary technologies, and best practices for using 1st, 2nd, and 3rd party data
- Minimum of 5 years experience using, consulting on, or selling SaaS software
- Experience with consumer marketing technology and B2B SaaS sales models
- History of engaging in complex enterprise software sales in enterprise markets
- Successfully managed cross-functional projects to bring new solutions to value
- Desire to test new approaches and contribute to the broader organization
- Intellectually curious and entrepreneurial
