Sentera's mission is to deliver time sensitive agricultural insights that optimize decisions and improve outcomes. Our integrated software and sensor products make it easy to integrate in-field data insights with the digital ag platforms in use by more than 80% of the growers in North America.

We're looking for an experienced relationship manager to join the Sentera team as an Account Manager. You will be the primary contact for Sentera's largest customer accounts, and work closely with the sales, customer success, and product team to ensure all customer needs are met. In this role, you will help articulate the benefits of Sentera's products and services, ensure successful implementation and onboarding, and help drive additional revenue.

What you'll do
  • Serve as the main point of contact for Sentera's largest accounts
  • Manage the post-sale transition for customers from sales to account management
  • Establish strong, long-term client relationships at every level for your designated accounts
  • Identify customer challenges with current business practices, and determine potential opportunities for growth
  • Partner with sales team to ensure new sales proposals align with customer's business goals.
  • Work with Sentera's services team to ensure implementation of products are successful
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of all Sentera products and services, and verify day-to-day customer usage lines up with company best practices
  • Facilitate technical discussions between customers and the Sentera product management team
  • Achieve yearly goals for growth, retention, and product adoption
  • Follow up on support tickets and enhancement requests to ensure customer needs are met, and all outstanding issues are resolved
  • Provide insight on key account business objectives to Sentera executive team
  • Maintain a regular cadence with senior leadership at all key accounts
  • Partner with key stakeholders across Sentera to ensure the company's technical direction will benefit key accounts


Requirements

  • 4-year degree in a business, technical, or agricultural-related field
  • A proven track record of managing large accounts for a technology organization
  • 5--7 years of experience in account management or customer success
  • Experience in growing revenue at large companies
  • Exceptional communicator with strong written, spoken, and presentation skills
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Existing relationships at large agricultural science companies are a plus
  • Agriculture or SaaS experience preferred

Additional Details
  • Job Status: Full-Time
  • Worksite Location: Sentera Main Office, St. Paul, or Remote (U.S. based) if not in Twin Cities, MN area
  • Travel: up to 20% - domestic travel by air and/or car
