Strategic Account Manager
Job Description
Do you like providing direct account management services for a portfolio of key Industrial Accounts? Would you like to have a fundamental role in building positive relationships that provides a high-level customer experience that leads to customer retention and satisfaction? Do you have specialized technical industry expertise on complex structured contracts to be executed successfully? Would you like to be responsible for the daily Industrial Account management that includes but not limited to taking all transactional orders, volume & rate analysis, customer guidance, and management of operational and alert day orders? Are you excited to partner with Sales and Supply & Risk Management departments to centralize all Industrial Account segments for acquisitions, renewals, hedges, and enrollment? The Strategic Account Manager role may be for you!
The Strategic Account Manager will coordinate with Sales, SRM, and Legal to administer Industrial Customer contracts for acquisitions, renewals, and addendums. Coordinate with Sales, SRM, Legal, and Customer to customize contract language for NAESBs, Special Provisions, Transaction Confirmations, Proprietary Contracts, and Proposals. Coordinate with Utilities, Pipelines, and LDCs for enrollment and form control for Industrial Customer switches and service activation. Assist Originators in administering and completing Hedge (Trigger) orders from Industrial Customers and manage transactions in all associated software (Salesforce, JOT Form, & GAS). Coordinate with Industrial Customers on all Baseload, Swing, Inday, and Turnback orders and process transaction in GAS. Analyze and manage Industrial Customers data (nominations, estimated usage, and burns) daily to balance accounts and make recommendations as needed to improve customer experience and profitability. Coordinate with Industrial Customers on OFO and Alert Days to help optimize their requirements, partner with Trading to establish swing, turnback and buy-through pricing, and process transactions in GAS and/or other internal and external systems as may be required. Coordinate monthly with Industrial Billing team to analyze and verify accurate data and transactions were captured for accurate and efficient invoicing of revenue. Build long-term strong and trust-based relationships with Industrial Customers to provide unparalleled customer experience that fosters high retention rates. Provide support and mediation when required with Industrial Customers and Industrial Billing Team on discrepancies and collections of past due balances. Lead and/or support industrial customer account analytics and reporting as required.

β’Bachelorβs Degree β Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Business Admin or Engineering
β’ 5 years of experience in the natural gas industry in sales or trading operations, preferred.
β’ Ability to understand, analyze, and communicate current natural gas market and volatility.
β’ Ability to communicate effectively and discuss complex issues with internal and external parties.
β’ Experience with NAESB and Industrial Contracting
β’ Ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally.
β’ Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
β’ Basic understanding of running SQL queries and analyzing results
β’ Beginner level knowledge of GAS and Aligne Software CORE
