The Strategic Account Manager is an Individual contributor role which relies on teaming, collaboration, and direct / indirect influencing to accomplish Annual Operating Plan (AOP) objectives. The Strategic Account Manager is responsible for representing the entire portfolio of Sensia's Products and Solutions in the assigned HQ focused accounts in the Houston region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver bookings growth for high-value flow measurement products and systems on major infrastructure projects within assigned accounts in the Houston region. A Key Measure will be bookings growth.
  • Identify major project opportunities within Houston region where there are opportunities for high-value products with focus on gas & liquid ultrasonic meters, metering & quality systems, and front-end engineering studies.
  • Team Lead for Sensia's Midstream sales initiative in the USA & Canada.
  • Collaborate with NAM Territory and Account Sales Managers to grow business and market position.
  • Qualify those projects with potential opportunities at an early enough stage (typically FEED or earlier) to ensure engagement at an early enough time to be specified.
  • Help develop and drive the NAM sales strategy through market quantification and development of business plans.
  • Lead the engagement process for the project by building relationships with key influencers in the region for these projects.
  • Undertake technical presentations of the midstream product line solutions and services to various levels in the client's organization
  • Present white papers at measurement and technical schools
  • Manage the liaison with other Regional Sales lead and Flow Solutions Managers to ensure a cohesive strategy
  • Maintain project and opportunity tracking for the region (Microsoft Dynamics CRM)
  • Network with the Sensia staff in other divisions/groups to ensure the above is conducted effectively to maximize the opportunity.
  • Ensure that projects are handed over to the organization in a clean state reflecting contractual obligations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Distribution, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Petroleum Engineer
  • Measurement, Automation, Digital Solutions, Lift Control sales and technical experience preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in Oil and Gas Experience in technical sales
  • Experience of selling concepts at a senior management level within organizations
  • Track record in the NAM Oil & Gas Market and well-connected within the Oil and Gas sector
  • Strong technical knowledge of oil and gas processing equipment and services.
