Reports to:VP Strategic Accounts

Overview:Serves as the single point of contact for assigned strategic account(s) and provides product expertise and support. Develops and implements sales strategies and meets or exceeds annual revenue targets. Calls on and develops and maintains strong business relationships through regular interaction with key frontline, supervisory, management, senior management, and executive leadership contacts within the account.

Essential Duties:

- Identify and assess sales opportunities within specific strategic account(s) and achieve incremental sales growth

- Establish long-term business relationships and manage the sales relationship with strategic customers at all levels

- Manage the processes, monitor and report the key metrics for the account(s), facilitate performance meetings and resolve issues

- Assist customers with product availability, pricing, and order status

- Manage expense budget

- Pro-actively guide contractual negotiations and renewal pricing and act as a lead negotiator.

- Utilize experience, ingenuity, creativity, analytical skills and judgement to solve complex problems

- Negotiate with customers and internal contacts to reach mutually beneficial solutions

- Effectively interact with internal customers and upper management to ensure that all requirements are being met

- Demonstrate organizational skills and track record of meeting deadlines

- Maintain database of customer and market / competitor information

Non-Essential Duties:

- Performs other duties as assigned

Skills and Abilities:

- Facilitate Account Receivable and DSO (Days Sales Outstanding)

- Travel extensively as required

Knowledge:

- Comprehensive, specialized technical knowledge of Archrock's products and services and their application to customer requirements

- Thorough knowledge of customer contract and processes

- Thorough knowledge of customer operational footprint

- Knowledge of competitive market

- Demonstrated understanding of sales principles and customer service practices

Minimum Education and Certification:

- Bachelor's degree in related field preferred

Minimum Experience:

- Typically, at least ten years' experience in sales within oil field equipment and services

- Successful track record of managing small - medium / less complex strategic accounts

- Experience with a CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system (SalesForce) preferred

Leadership:

- Expected to serve as a resource to others for knowledge transfer, training and checking work

- May occasionally lead a sales related project

- Expected to be able to influence others within and outside of the sales team

- Regularly required to stand, walk, and bend with good balance, use hands to finger, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms

- Regularly required to sit, perform repetitive duties, use a PC and to talk and hear

- Vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus

- Regularly required to lift, move and carry up to 10 pounds
