The Strategic Accounts Team (SAT) is responsible for delivering an exceptional experience to our top Distributors and Key Accounts by being a proactive solutions-oriented partner.
Reporting into the Distributor Strategic Accounts Manager, the Strategic Accounts Specialist is responsible for providing concierge service to our Distributor customers. The Strategic Accounts Specialist works with all Distribution Centers (DC's) to ensure orders are delivered as requested and in a timely manner to ensure high service levels are achieved.

This hybrid role provides flexibility to work a few days on site and a few days remotely.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Member of the Strategic Accounts Team (SAT), providing dedicated concierge customer service support to Strategic customers by phone and email, collaborating with team in a virtual and on-site environment. Proactively manages Top Strategic Accounts from receipt through delivery.
- Meets and exceeds established order accuracy standards and turnaround times.
- Develops, prepares, and communicates order data reporting to customers.
- Provides necessary reporting and dashboards to customers to support requests and show overall performance.
- Effectively manages communication with internal functions (Contracts, Sales, Operations, Supply Chain and Logistics, etc.) to support customer requests, meet deadlines and find timely resolutions.
- Supports promotional sales campaigns, product launches and cross selling or upselling activities while adhering to and ensuring compliance with BD guidelines, protocols, and policies
- Work with Allocations, Planning and the DC's to ensure order/demand prioritization, secure constrained product and ensure critical product flow.
- Responsible for customer retention and driving efficiencies in customer ordering and inquiry process.
- Supports customer education on new technology and transitioning to self-service avenues.
- Identifies and participates in process improvement efforts and assists in the establishment of best practices
- Participates in cross functional projects/teams as required
- Participates in coaching, mentoring, and training activities
- Pursues personal development of skills and knowledge necessary for the effective performance of the role and future opportunities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- College degree or 5+ years of experience customer service or medical industry
- Experience working in a virtual team dynamic preferred
- Familiarity with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI and Outlook. Excellent data entry, proofreading, and typing skills
- JDE, SAP, or similar ERP experience desirable
- Good knowledge of supply chain practice in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability including the ability to break down complex problems into manageable components
- Strong time management and organizational skills with demonstrated ability to multitask using dual monitors, while working in multiple systems
- Clear communication skills (written and verbal) with demonstrated ability to influence without authority. Comfortable interacting with many levels of management
- Detail oriented with the ability to work with and maintain confidential information
- Ability to resolve potentially stressful customer interactions
- Self-motivated with demonstrated learning agility
