The Job/What You'll Do:

The Strategic Accounts Coordinator will require strong multitasking and organizational skills because responsibilities will encompass a wide spectrum of strategic accounts and sales administration functions including facilitating BD approval for AssetMark sponsored events, annual Broker Dealer due diligence questionnaire completion, and sales reporting. The person in this role will communicate regularly with Strategic Accounts team members as well as members of our sales teams, events teams, and broker dealer back office representatives, requiring vigilant attention and action to meet time-dependent deadlines. Ideal candidates will have excellent communication skills and desire & ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, while maintaining a level-headed approach.

We can consider candidates for this position who are able to accommodate a hybrid work schedule from our Concord, CA or Chicago, IL office.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitation of BD approvals for key AssetMark Events throughout the year
  • Cross functional coordination of resources and invitees with the Events, Sales, and Strategic Accounts teams.
  • Communication with broker dealer back office teams to secure approval
  • Campaign maintenance related to BD (and underlying reps) approval status
  • Tracking progression of BD approvals & communicating to appropriate teams
  • Prioritize work accordingly to meet time-dependent deadlines
  • Manage and complete incoming Broker Dealer Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs)
  • Evaluate DDQ request & communicate expected delivery date
  • Provide standard DDQ if applicable or complete client DDQ using RFP360 database and other resources
  • Coordinate compliance review
  • Track progress throughout & deliver completed DDQ
  • Assist SA RMs with any needed follow-up
  • Ad hoc project support and execute on subset of designated daily tasks (in support of the broader Strategic Accounts team workload) as needed

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Excellent ability to analyze and solve problems
  • Must be highly detail oriented, meticulous, and self-starter
  • Proficient in MS Office applications including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Comfortable interacting with all levels of an org. chart
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Basic knowledge of wealth management or financial services industry
  • Knowledge of Salesforce.com functions
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical abilities

Education & Experience:

  • B.A. or B.S. (4-year degree) or equivalent years of work experience required
  • Financial Services industry experience preferred

Compensation: The Base Salary range for this position is between $65,000-$75,000.

This information reflects a base salary range that AssetMark reasonably expects to pay for the position based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and actual work location. This position will also be eligible for additional variable incentive compensation and competitive benefits.

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US to be considered. We are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position.
