Job Description
Rockwell Automation (RA) is seeking a highly capable, self-directed Strategic Account Marketing Manager, to help drive demand generation of best-in-class industrial solutions, products, software and services to the top strategic accounts in North America. If you have a passion for industrial solutions, love helping customers solve their problems and extract full value of our solutions and are an expert in designing and implementing ABM strategies and strategic account marketing plans that can scale to alike customers - then we're looking for you.
In this role, you will develop a deep understanding of RA GTM programs, industries and strategic account plans working directly with sales to develop and deliver ABM programs that engage new personas, acquire new buying centers, and implement cross-sale and up-sale campaigns to capture a bigger wallet share to grow revenue for RA. You will be responsible for acquiring and engaging new contacts, increasing awareness and driving demand generation with a set of strategic accounts. You will act as the primary marketing contact for a set of Strategic accounts and the internal sales team participating in regular team calls, in-person meetings and planning sessions. You will also act as the primary marketing contact and consultant for the marketing account planning process.
The ideal candidate has a passion for technology, is customer obsessed, possesses an entrepreneurial spirit, and a successful track record in ABM building and executing integrated strategic account marketing plans.
What You'll Do:
- Create Marketing account plans for each strategic account
- Adopt, and modify if necessary, horizontal and vertical omnichannel demand generation programs for ABM (1:few and scale).
- Drive engagements for a set of strategic accounts assigned.
- In collaboration with global content and activation teams implement awareness and demand journeys that drive engagement at each stage of the buyer's journey.
- Driving executive and account engagement that influences and accelerates pipeline. Two key metrics are Marketing Influenced Opportunities (MIO) and Sales qualified leads (SQL).
- Track and share results with sales regularly that use data-driven insights to implement improvements.
- Integrate product marketing launches into the account marketing plans as appropriate.
- Portfolio penetration analysis to understand up-sale and cross-sale opportunities to implement campaigns that capture a bigger wallet share for each assigned strategic account
- Acquire new contacts in the strategic accounts to do outbound marketing specially in new buying centers for Cyber, DX, Software and services.
- Drive engagements with higher executive level for strategic accounts CXO and VPs.
- Drive periodic reviews with the sales team to give visibility to results and performance and define improvements to the plans
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing , business, or relevant field of study. MBA preferred.
- Legal authorization to work in the US or Canada is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Typically requires 10+ years of enterprise B2B marketing experience in high-tech/industrial software, hardware and services environments
- 8+ years creating marketing account strategies leveraging modern marketing principles into strategic accounts including: account based marketing (ABM), marketing automation/nurture programs, intent-based programmatic marketing and the integration of online and offline tactics (events).
- Demonstrated experience in working with sales leaders in driving pipeline and revenue
- Ability to influence across functions, be a team player and thrive in a matrixed environment.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail and flawless execution.
- Ability to learn quickly to understand the portfolio and GTM
- Demonstrated success in marketing roles that are field customer facing
- Business partnering capability to get alignment with sales organization
- Strong collaboration, influencing and negotiations skills
- Ability to navigate and resolve complex situations involving multiple stakeholders.
- Advanced planning and organization capabilities for timely execution of priorities.
- Able to balance between being strategic and hands-on execution
- Excel at cross-group collaboration, creative thinking, problem solving and have a bias for action
- Superb communication skills (Listening, verbal, and written)

The base salary compensation range for this role in Colorado and New York is $120,000-$140,000 with an annual target bonus of 8% of base salary.
