Strategic Business Partner Specialist

This position will be a valuable contributor to the SBP team by supporting the SBP team, leaders and team members.

What you'll be doing:
- Ability to work with all internal and external customers while role modeling Waystar's mission, purpose, and values of Waystar
- Provide project management support and HR expertise on various projects such as engagement survey, performance management, job description and offer letter creation, tracking key metrics and filing.
- Advise team members regarding HR policies, practices and key talent technology (ie Fuel 50, Glint)
- Help maintain Workday as our single source of truth for talent data
- Assist with team member onboarding and off boarding
- Support exit survey implementation and analysis of results to drive improvement
- Draft initial offer letters, job descriptions and communications
- Support scheduling of key client meetings for SBP team
- Help champion and serve as a member of the Waystar Cares committee that drives events related to teambuilding, wellness and community involvement
What we're looking for:
- Brand Ambassador and role models our company values, ethics and maintains the highest level of confidentiality
- Bachelor's degree in HR-related field preferred
- Minimum two years' experience working on a fast-paced HR team ideal
- Understanding of basic employment laws
- Advanced Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Takes initiative, very well organized and detailed oriented
- Project management experience a plus
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
