Strategic Business Partner Specialist

This position will be a valuable contributor to the SBP team by supporting the SBP team, leaders and team members.

What you'll be doing:

• Ability to work with all internal and external customers while role modeling Waystar's mission, purpose, and values of Waystar
• Provide project management support and HR expertise on various projects such as engagement survey, performance management, job description and offer letter creation, tracking key metrics and filing.
• Advise team members regarding HR policies, practices and key talent technology (ie Fuel 50, Glint)
• Help maintain Workday as our single source of truth for talent data
• Assist with team member onboarding and off boarding
• Support exit survey implementation and analysis of results to drive improvement
• Draft initial offer letters, job descriptions and communications
• Support scheduling of key client meetings for SBP team
• Help champion and serve as a member of the Waystar Cares committee that drives events related to teambuilding, wellness and community involvement

What we're looking for:

• Brand Ambassador and role models our company values, ethics and maintains the highest level of confidentiality
• Bachelor's degree in HR-related field preferred
• Minimum two years' experience working on a fast-paced HR team ideal
• Understanding of basic employment laws
• Advanced Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Takes initiative, very well organized and detailed oriented
• Project management experience a plus
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
