Description

The Strategic Capacity Sourcing Representative is an integral position on the Strategic Capacity team in the Carrier Sales department. As the Strategic Capacity Sourcing Rep, you will source strategic carrier partners and develop strong relationships to efficiently move customers' shipments and increase the load per carrier volume. You will be responsible for sourcing, onboarding, and maintaining the carrier relationship throughout the routing guide commitment to provide a high level of customer service to both the carrier and customer. You will work cross-functionally to ensure the carrier network supports the customers' network.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Strategic Capacity team, Carrier team, Customer team, and Yield team to identify lanes that need strategic carrier capacity and routing guide development
  • Source consistent, reliable carrier capacity for same-day and future customer opportunities
  • Conduct calls with carriers to discuss strategic opportunities, secure consistent capacity, and align expectations with the carrier on all opportunities
  • Develop relationships with targeted carriers within a specific region that are not actively working with MoLo
  • Maintain a record of current carrier capacity to assist the customer sales team with reverse selling
  • Assist the Strategic Capacity Operations team by managing the success of existing routing guides
  • Onboard strategic carriers and maintain a strong relationship to provide customer service to both the carrier and customer throughout the opportunity

Requirements

What we are looking for:

  • Minimum 2 years of Carrier Sales experience preferred
  • Self-motivated individual with proven experience sourcing consistent carrier capacity
  • Familiarity with impactful carrier sourcing techniques
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Exhibit a high level of customer service
