Obligo is on a mission to build trust between landlords and renters through financial technology that supports the lifecycle of the landlord-tenant relationship. The strategic partnerships team leads the charge in identifying opportunities for and building collaborations with strategic partners such as property management software companies, financial institutions, tech companies, and other real estate related firms. 

We are looking for a talented, motivated, self-directed advocate to be a core member of our strategic partnerships team. As a Director of Strategic Channels, you will be responsible for executing the launch and managing the progression of high-profile partnerships, including spearheading internal company-wide preparations, collaborating closely with our Product team to implement our solutions within our partner’s platform and/or business process, and nurturing our partner relationships. These partnerships are a core component of the company’s GTM strategy and will position you in a critical, highly visible role at the company. Most importantly, we are looking for a team member that will continue to elevate Obligo’s internal culture of trust, transparency, excellence and teamwork.

About Your Responsibilities: 

  • Manage the company’s preparation for and execution of high-profile strategic partnerships that require regular communication with and participation from all functions, including Sales, Customer Operations, Customer Success, Product, Marketing, HR, Finance and Legal. 
  • Track, report, and improve the performance of partnerships, including identifying issues as they arise, assessing possible solutions, and executing the most effective ones, while working closely with Sales, Customer Success & Operations and Dev teams.
  • Develop partnership KPIs and ensure they are met through periodic partner meetings and targeted initiatives, including co-marketing efforts, customer feedback, and integration enhancements.
  • Identify and execute on upsell opportunities, including preparing tailored presentations and pitching to applicable partners.
  • Manage software integration creation and enhancement processes with property management softwares as well as with other company types, working closely with our development team.  
  • Identify and explore relevant networking opportunities, including preparing for and participating in conferences, roundtable discussions, and webinars. 

About Your Experience:

  • Experience in managing high-profile cross-functional partnerships from beginning to end
  • 4-6 years of experience in a B2B client-facing role
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a self-directed manner and to be flexible in a fast-paced environment
  • Superior organizational and time management skills
  • Skilled at building and nurturing relationships
  • Demonstrated capability to navigate product and operational ambiguities and find creative solutions 
  • Ability to understand a complex SaaS platform and quickly comprehend new features
  • Experience with property management softwares is a bonus
  • Experience with Salesforce & Hubspot is a bonus
