What You Will Do:
The focus of this position is to provide strategic communications support for an enterprise technology implementation within a fast-paced environment for an Intelligence Community (IC) client. This individual will serve as a key point of contact for the client to gather input and coordinate with other team members to ensure project activities are appropriately meeting client expectations. This will include independently managing workload and tasks, as well developing high-quality deliverables. High-level job duties include:
- Responsible for the implementation and coordination of the Communication Plan to support the enterprise technology implementation
- Apply organizational change management practices to the overall communication and stakeholder engagement strategy
- Participate in and/or lead project meetings and client stakeholder briefings related to status updates, overall progress, and risks/issues
- Provide expertise and guidance on leading communications efforts; this includes tailoring messaging for various stakeholder groups, identifying and using the appropriate communication vehicles/methods, recommending timing/frequency of messaging, and resolving potential communication gaps
- Draft regular messaging about the project, at both the programmatic level and more tactical communications, and manage the coordination of the approval process with client stakeholders for distribution
- Create resources (including reference guides, presentation materials, Toolkits, etc.) and help with facilitation of client meetings as needed throughout the project (e.g., Employee Information Sessions)
- Support other communications, stakeholder engagement, and change management initiatives as needed
What You Will Need:
- CURRENT and ACTIVE Top Secret (TS) / SCI Federal Security Clearance with COUNTERINTELLIGENCE (CI) Polygraph
- EIGHT (8) years' experience in programs of similar scope, type, and complexity is required (large-scale enterprise technology implementation).
- A Bachelor's degree in public Affairs, Communications, Business, or equivalent field. A Master's degree may be substituted for TWO (2) years of experience.
- Experience with multiple word processing and presentation tools such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.
- Demonstrated experience in developing talking points, briefings, key messages, and articles for executive level management.
What Would Be Nice To Have:
- Demonstrated experience in technical writing.
- Demonstrated experience with Department of Defense (DoD) and Intelligence Community (IC) missions, policies, and procedures.
