Strategic Development Manager, Trade Aid
Job Description
Mandate: Conduct consultations to understand clients' current situation and identify their pain points/needs. Prepare meetings, formulate offers, and negotiate prices and terms and conditions. Host workshops with key stakeholders/experts from both the client and internally to discuss and clarify questions. Attend virtual trade shows and conferences to network with prospects. Provide market feedback/insights to assist in growth strategy. Work with the Marketing team to create impactful content. Contribute to product strategy and roadmaps. Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in B2B solution sales, preferably related to Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Freight Forwarding, and/or SaaS/technology College Diploma or University Undergrad degree in International Management, Business Administration or related field is preferred Proficient in Microsoft Office and Windows-based applications Exceptional, proven track record in integrated solution selling Ability to provide concrete examples of other sales accomplishments (from plan to close) Ability to drive innovation / exhibit an entrepreneurial spirit Business Community involvement Extremely detail-oriented and organized Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills at all levels of the organization, especially executives and C-level Excellent written communication skills; other language skills are considered an asset Ability to work independently (drive and self-motivation/self-starter and self-managed) and in a team environment Equal opportunity employer Competitive compensation (performance based) Comprehensive Benefits package, including fitness reimbursement program(s) Education Reimbursement Program Balance between work and home life Delmar's work schedule includes hybrid and flex schedule(s) depending on the job location and function. Reporting to the VP of Managed Solutions, the Strategic Development Manager is responsible for helping companies improve the global supply chain's efficiency, cost, and carbon footprint. The candidate will play a crucial role in establishing client relationships and closing deals by soliciting Delmar's products and services to companies across North America. In addition, working alongside various team members, the candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining a sales pipeline and nurturing potential clients covering all sales process phases. Essentially, this role entails successfully presenting tailor-made supply chain solutions to potential clients, significantly influencing the growth of a start-up/scale-up to build industry relationships.
