Role Description:
The Technical Capability Director for Sourcing, Promising, & Allocations (SP&A) within Global Operations & Logistics Technology will be accountable for leading the technical implementation of inventory sourcing, promising, & allocation capabilities, and solutions. The capabilities supported are critical to delivering complete Digital & Wholesale inventory solutions across our SAP (S/4) & Enterprise Inventory platforms.
Responsibilities:

• Be the technical decision maker for (SP&A) technology solutions on the SAP-S/4 platform.
• Prioritize a technical backlog of configuration and S/4 development of SP&A scope.
• Lead the work of the Strategic Enterprise Capabilities (SEC) program's vendors and delivery partners. Manage vendor performance of associated scope/work.
• Proactively build and own the technical roadmap for the SP&A capabilities/platforms that includes the strategic inventory priorities of a digitally focused Nike.
• Provide updates on technical delivery to SEC program senior leadership as well as Nike Global Technology's Senior Leadership Team when applicable.
• Lead program cost drivers (custom development, configuration, and resource bill rates) and own mitigation plan creation for identified risks associated with these cost drivers.
• Lead and provide performance management coaching to a team of dedicated technologists with deep expertise in SAP inventory, logistics, and order management capabilities & technologies. This role will be the performance manager for this hard-working team and the hiring manager for any new resources added.
• Provide direction and make decisions related to the cutover and stabilization strategy of all SP&A solutions and capabilities.

Role reports to the Senior Director of SEC Global Operations & Logistics Technology and will be a member of that leadership team.

Role Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in business management, computer science, engineering, or combination of relevant education, experience, and training
• Preferably a master's degree in engineering, computer science, business, or combination of relevant education, experience, and training
• Solid understanding of solution and technical design, problem solving, and data driven decision-making.
• Able to influence and communicate effectively, both verbally and written, with team members, business stakeholders, and enterprise technology partners.
• Able to influence critical business outcomes in a matrix-based, global environment.
• Experience resolving end-to-end issues with higher levels of management.
• Experience inspiring, leading and building diverse teams.
• Comfortable leading globally distributed and diverse teams.
• Experience with continuous integration, unit testing, static analysis, and automated integration tests. Continuous delivery experience preferred.

8+ years of experience in the following areas:

• Consistent track record of leading SAP / ERP projects or projects that use SAP technologies to drive business solutions.
• Demonstrated history of leading the implementation of sophisticated technical solutions in inventory, supply chain, digital retail, or related industry areas.
• Demonstrated experience leading ERP/ SAP implementations.
• Demonstrated history of vendor management, including vendor performance management and resource procurement.
• Demonstrated history of managing offshore technical delivery teams.
• Superb communication skills and a consistent track record of communicating technical topics to senior leaders.
