Team Overview

We are seeking a self-driven, analytical, critical thinker possessing strong accounting, finance, quantitative and communication skills ready to bring their skills to our fast-paced, dynamic environment. The Strategic Finance Analyst role is a part of the Strategic Finance team. Strategic Finance is responsible for Investor Relations and Corporate Development, while partnering with our business functions to improve forecasting. The Strategic Finance Analyst will report directly to the VP, Strategic Finance, playing a key role enhancing our demand forecasting.

What you will do:

  • Become an industry expert, conducting industry analysis and company-specific research
  • Gather, synthesize, and analyze complex data sets, news releases, regulator filings, and industry events to shape your view of the industry
  • Incorporate the results of that primary research into an overlay to our forecast models, reflecting anticipated risks and opportunities on the current forecast
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to incorporate the results of that primary research into our forecast models
  • Implement new process tools and systems to improve forecasting and reporting with an eye towards scale, efficiency and transparency
  • Establish key business drivers and performance indicators in order to provide insightful reporting to support executive decision making
  • Support existing Corporate Development team to help enhance our market analysis and deal funnel

What you will bring:

  • Minimum of 5 years of financial and business analysis experience or Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate discipline such as Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics or highly analytical field
  • Ability to earn trust with business and program leaders, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion
  • Strong understanding of financial documents and performance measurements as well as modeling and forecasting experience
  • Excellent written communication and presentation skills, as well as intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Knowledge of FactSet a plus
  • Ability to work independently through ambiguity


Compensation and Benefits:

The benefits listed below may vary depending on the nature of your employment with Impinj and the country where you work.

The typical base pay range for this role across the US is $110,000 to $175,000. Individual base pay depends on various factors such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties, requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Both market wage data and the mid-point of the pay range is reviewed and used as the starting point for all new hire offers. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time.
At Impinj certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, annual bonus and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee’s role. US based employees have access to healthcare benefits; a 401(k) plan and company match among others.
