What you'll do
We are looking for an inquisitive and results-driven Strategic Finance Analyst to join our fast growing Finance team. This role will report to the [CFO] and work alongside key business leaders to ensure they have access to timely, accurate, relevant and proactively persuasive insights to efficiently grow the business. You will contribute to and create the financial forecasting and reporting for internal and external stakeholders, as well as partner with senior leaders across the company to improve data-driven decision making.

How you'll make an impact

• Collaborate with the Controller and CFO and other leadership/ finance team members to create high-quality financial forecasts, track financial and productivity performance, development of capital plans, and staffing analysis
• Own and maintain the company’s financial model and forecast and assist with the quarterly board preparation in describing changes to the forecast. 
• Participate in long-range strategic planning, including multi-year, multi-scenario forecasting and modeling.
• Develop strategies and make recommendations for improving financial planning processes.
• Assist with the annual budget process. Gather budget requests from department heads, review requests with the finance team and present drafts to leadership and the board.
• Assist with FP&A month-end close processes
• Conduct ad-hoc financial and data analyses to support department leads in their decision-making process
• Communicate financial results through reports, charts, and graphs for visual understanding

 
What you'll bring

• Experience in Strategic Finance, Corporate Finance, Consulting, or Investment Banking at a high-growth startup or well-established company
• Deep understanding of the 3 main financial statements and how they tie together
• Ability to develop and manage financial models independently; strong Excel/financial modeling and presentation skills required; must be comfortable building new models/analysis from scratch
• Highly effective communicator who can easily break down complex information
• Effective self-starter. Able to effectively manage their own time and charge toward results right out of the gate
• Experience with SQL and business intelligence tools like Looker (Preferred)
