Strategic Finance, Intern

Overview

We are looking for a Strategic Finance, Intern to join our team. This role in the interim will report to our Director, Product & Operations and ultimately our Finance Analyst. Working across Air Company’s business, this person will be responsible for supporting both financial and data analysis related initiatives.

Ideal candidates will have experience building and managing complex spreadsheet based financial models. They will also have industry experience as well as an MBA or similar. The candidate must have rigorous attention to detail and have an interest in sustainable projects.

Requirements

• Support Financial Analyst and Director with maintaining and upgrading Air Company’s financial forecast model. This requires a very acute understanding of financial principles and how to manage in a complex spreadsheet

• Support Financial Analyst and Director with managing Air Company’s investor presentation

• Support Financial Analyst and Director with managing Air Company’s investor database. Continuously research

  the market to understand future prospective investors that could support Air Company

• Undertake competitive research analysis and regularly report back to Air Company leadership on other

  emerging technologies within industry.

• Plan and analyze prospective future product lines

• Undertake pricing analysis as Air Company releases new products or enters new markets.

• Manage and analyze Air Company’s customer and sales data to provide insight to management for building

  future strategies.

  
  
  Preferred Skills:

• Bachelor degree in Business, Finance, Economics or similar

• MBA is a plus

• Experience in building and managing complex spreadsheets

• Ability to work proactively and independently with an eagerness to learn

• Quicker learner & attentive to detail

• Ability to work in a fast paced environment

• Team player

• Flexible with time and hours
