THE ROLE: 

As the lead for strategic finance and reporting to the CFO at Vivian, you will have the opportunity to set the standard for the strategic finance function within the company. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to make an outsized impact at a growing start-up.

• Partner with business leaders on strategic planning, resource investment and allocation, goal-setting and performance measurement
• Develop an in-depth understanding of key revenue and cost drivers and communicate how these drivers impact our strategy and goals 
• Enhance the company operating model to incorporate business drivers by customer segment and department and enable segment financial analysis and scenario planning
• Proactively identify and analyze opportunities to further grow revenues and margins, including new market and business line expansion, pricing, upsell, conversion and retention opportunities
• Analyze customer unit economics, lifetime value and return on investment for sales, marketing and investment spend
• Enable great decision making with business leaders with financial, competitive and industry analyses 
• Support M&A efforts, as required, with strategic and financial analysis and diligence coordination
• Partner with business leaders and FP&A manager on budgeting/forecasting, financial reporting and analysis of key financial metrics 

THE SKILL SET: 

• 4+ years professional experience in corporate finance, investment banking or management consulting capacity
• Bachelor's degree 
• Expert financial modeling capability and experience 
• Knowledge of strategic finance and/or FP&A best practices, including driver-based modeling, forecasting financial statements, unit economics and lifetime value analysis
• Exceptional planning, problem-solving, and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and own process development and enhancement
• Ability to collaborate closely department leaders
• Strong Excel knowledge and experience
• High growth startup and/or marketplace experience a plus
• SQL and Looker experience a plus

THE SALARY, BENEFITS & PERKS:

The range for this position is $145,000 - $165,000 yearly salary, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, education, and skills. This range is based on a full-time schedule.
