Strategic Finance Manager
Job Description
The Strategic Finance team at Miro has a clear mission: tackle business problems to drive the company's growth and financial performance. Our goal is to use data to help the organization make the right decisions, address key challenges and identify new ways to grow.
The team combines external market observation with internal assessment to set operating targets for teams, support the organization's strategic decisions, and identify financial optimization opportunities.
What you'll do
- Be a Strategic Finance partner to our Revenue Operations team and Sales organization
- Evaluate new initiatives and Inform strategic and investment decisions through analysis and financial business case development
- Own forecasting and target setting for all lead generation and sales funnel metrics
- Partner with the Revenue Operations team to evaluate Sales unit economics, navigate growth / profitability tradeoffs, and set headcount targets
- Advise sales compensation design decisions through quantitative insights and scenario modeling
- Develop and evolve scalable processes to effectively plan and manage headcount and operating expenditure budgets for the Sales organization
- Collaborate closely with other members of the Strategic Finance team, including marketing finance, product finance, and corporate functions
- Prepare presentations and key reporting for the Executive Team, business leaders, and other stakeholders
- Perform ad hoc financial modeling, market analyses, or other projects
What you'll need
- 5+ years of total experience in strategic finance at a high growth company, strategy/management consulting, investment banking, private equity, or venture capital
- A demonstrated knowledge of quotas, attainment, sales efficiency, CAC, LTV, and other B2B SAAS and recurring revenue metrics
- Ability to gather, synthesize and triangulate data across multiple sources
- Thorough mastery of excel analysis and modeling, including forecasting, cohort analysis, and unit economics assessment
- Comfort with ambiguity; willingness to roll-up your sleeves and build from scratch
- The ability to thrive and keep a steady hand in a fast-moving environment, including managing multiple, disparate projects at once
- Strong interpersonal communication skills - numbers are key, but a business is built with people

The reasonably estimated salary is specific to New York and may not be applicable to other locations. The range for this role is between $142,400 - $195,800. Included in the total package is an equity component, this may also include variable compensation. Final compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
