Strategic Growth Executive for Middle-Market Accounts (Remote)

Job Overview:
Blue Orange Digital invites applications for the position of Strategic Growth Executive, focusing on middle-market accounts. We are seeking a seasoned professional with a proven track record in business development, particularly in professional services or consulting. An understanding of data science, machine learning, and AI is essential. This role demands the development and execution of effective sales strategies tailored to specific industries, accounts, and their unique needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategically plan and execute initiatives targeting middle-market accounts to drive revenue growth through new client acquisitions.
- Engage in lead generation activities, including networking, attending industry events, and forming partnerships.
- Identify and pursue potential clients, understanding their business requirements and challenges.
- Collaborate with delivery teams to create solutions that meet client needs, utilizing our expertise in data science, machine learning, and AI.
- Develop and present tailored proposals to clients, effectively communicating our value proposition.
- Work closely with internal teams to create customized client solutions.
- Partner with technical teams to ensure project resources and progress align with our commitment to excellence.
- Achieve sales targets in a dynamic environment.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of our offerings, client needs, and market trends.
- Provide thought leadership in data science, machine learning, AI, and cloud services, guiding clients through their data transformation journey.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, computer science, data science, or related fields.
- 7-10 years in professional services or consulting, with a focus on business development or sales.
- 5+ years of experience in technology sales or business development, including complex contract negotiations.
- Proven track record in dealing with middle-market accounts, especially in technology project development and account strategy implementation.
- Skilled in pre-call planning, research, proposal responses, and sales strategy execution.
- Knowledge of data science, machine learning, and AI technologies, with strong communication skills to convey their value to clients.
- Established a history of building lasting client relationships and solving technological challenges.
- Exceptional communication, organizational, decision-making, and presentation abilities.
- A hunter mindset, driven by results and growth.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% for sales activities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with CRMs like HubSpot or Salesforce and other sales tools.
- Successful background in developing business strategies for middle-market accounts.
- Strong client relationship-building skills.
- Independent and collaborative work capabilities.
