The Office of the CAO leads foundational enterprise functions in partnership with the business and other functional leads to enable our Firm to grow and scale with disciplined controls, risk management, and continuous process improvement.

What you’ll do

We are looking for an experienced program manager to join the Strategic Implementation team, responsible for oversight of the strategic program landscape. You will be responsible for providing governance and management transparency for the firm’s strategic initiatives . You will collaborate across all departments and functions in investment services to ensure an end-to-end project lifecycle and governance structure that supports the growth of our businesses.

New Strategic Initiatives - Governance

  • Design and oversee an end-to-end program process from business case to post implementation monitoring
  • Manage and enhance the new activities and instruments request and review process
  • Maintain regular touchpoints and collaborate with business sponsors, project managers, core deliverable owners, and other key stakeholders
  • Coordinate across functions to document business case, financial information, critical path, key dependencies, and necessary pre-go-live conditions for new strategic initatives to ensure effective risk management and operational readiness
  • Ensure implementation plans and working group materials are vetted and approved across all levels of management
  • Partner with the Strategic Implementation Program Managers on best practices and oversight of programs implementation; run ad hoc initiatives
  • Develop repeatable playbooks for key processes
  • Partner with Legal, Compliance, Operational Risk and other investment services departments

Program Reviews

  • Provide oversight of full program landscape to drive management transparency
  • Develop cross program prioritization processes and drive decision making
  • Synthesize information and present relevant updates to senior leadership

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have experience with strategic planning, managing significant change initiatives with multiple stakeholders with varying priorities
  • Be an excellent project manager, capable of organizing and leading diverse project teams, performing the detailed work, and proactively identifying and resolving roadblocks
  • Be comfortable navigating internal clients with the ability to drive decision making and gain consensus across groups, seniority levels, and interests in a complex global organization
  • Create and deliver compelling presentations, effectively communicate with senior internal clients, simplify complexity, and provide thoughtful and succinct recommendations
  • Be inquisitive and analytical with the ability to gather and synthesize information to challenge assumptions and recommend solutions
  • Have at least 10 years of work experience in a financial institution or consulting firm with a demonstrated track record of leading people and implementing complex initiatives
  • Be committed to the highest ethical standards

The annual base salary range for this role is $260,000-$290,000, which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.
