Group Overview:
The Personal Investment Management Group ("PIM") is responsible for the coordination, management, and administration of the firm and its affilates' co-investment and carried interest programs. The team plays a vital role in the Blackstone investment process, working hands-on with investments from inception to distribution, while managing impact to financial statements. The team is responsible for funding for the relevant investment partnerships, structuring investment allocations, facilitating members' use of leverage and distributing investment proceeds. The team also specializes in management of investment related compensation including carried interest and incentive fees.

Job Description:
The candidate will work with members of the team at all levels on an array of projects and concepts relating to individual participation in Blackstone's alternative investment vehicles. The individual will expand their knowledge of fund structure and associated investment economics that these programs are built on, as well as obtain detailed knowledge of carried interest calculations and participation. The individual will also assist with aspects of the loan program associated with employee participation. Additionally, this individual will be responsible for management reporting around employee carry economics. The individual will get broad exposure across the business groups and collaborate with various teams in Strategic Incentives Group, Human Resources, Finance and Technology. Responsibilities include:
- Perform investment proceeds distributions for various funds, utilizing knowledge of carried interest calculations, fund structures and investment characteristics
- Manage the quarterly and cumulative carried interest valuations and allocations
- Work with management on items related to carried interest compensation
- Assist with the employee loan programs and relationships with third-party lenders
- Interface with various third parties such as legal counsel, external lenders, technology, and wealth advisors on matters related to affiliate holdings
- Perform detailed ad-hoc analyses and create presentations related to individual and firm wide investment holdings in Blackstone funds for management, investors, and third parties
- Manage and assist in projects related to technology, reporting, and process improvement
- Facilitate detailed quarterly reporting to participants on their investment portfolio and be responsive to investor questions and requests
- Supervise one team member in NY and five team members in India on all aspects of the above
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- 7+ years of relevant work experience
- Strong academic record
- Strong leadership skills with solid business judgment
- Team oriented individual
- Highly motivated and willingness to learn
- Excellent analytical skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Highly-motivated and enthusiastic
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
- Investran experience preferred

Expected annual base salary range:
$130,000 - $165,000
Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.
Additional compensation: Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits offered in connection with the advertised role.
