Overview

Scope

• The Strategic Marketing Manager will support development of strategic and competitive analysis, marketing plans, and other special projects that connect business objectives to marketing plans.
• Support the development of medium to long-range objectives by evaluating internal and external strategic issues and product plans that could affect growth.
• Analyze macroeconomic factors, analyst reports, and market trends to support development of marketing plans, messaging, and product positioning for the business.
• The ideal candidate should have a strong track record of critical thinking, collaboration, and communication with executive and peer stakeholders.

What you'll do

• Work with product marketing and other teams to lead market research projects, collect intelligence, aggregate and analyze for trends, and present results to key stakeholders.
• Review and analyze competitor earnings reports, strategic positions, messaging, and press releases to provide regular updates and reports to executives
• Assist with developing and maintaining quantitative model of TAM and work with product marketers, product management, and research firms to collect market intelligence.
• Prepare regular market strategy-related presentations and reports for marketing leadership
• Support analyst inquiries, briefings and other presentations as needed, working with product, marketing and analyst relations resources, to position Blue Yonder as a supply chain market leader.
• Provide recommendations to marketing, sales, and executive leadership on how the company can adjust messaging and position its solutions to win.

What we are looking for

• 2+ years of software marketing or strategic planning experience preferably in SaaS.
• Bachelor's degree, or equivalent relevant marketing experience required; MBA is a plus
• Self-starter with proven analytical and business skills while operating in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent listening, oral and written communication/presentation skills with strong ability to influence people at all levels and in various functions.
• Available to work in a distributed, global time zone environment.
