POSITION SUMMARY:
The Strategic Marketing Manager, is responsible for building and enhancing recognition of Millennium Trust's brand and offerings specifically targeting (individual consumers or B2B partners). This person will lead the strategy and development of best-in-class (acquisition/sales enablement or engagement and retention) efforts to increase profitably and grow the brand. This role should possess refined communication skills, with proven success in innovative marketing campaigns across the continuum of today's marketing channels. The ideal candidate has experience with (B2B or B2C) marketing in the investment services and/or healthcare accounts, likes working in a collaborate, fast paced environment focused on driving results, as well as be highly enthusiastic, proactive, and able to take initiative to identify new opportunities.
- Lead development of the marketing strategy for the business, informed by business priorities, audience insights, positioning, messaging, and channel strategy.
- Lead campaign development, in collaboration with Marketing Channel teams, translating marketing objectives into data-driven campaigns focusing on iterative improvements that achieve marketing & business metrics.
- Be the subject matter expert of the specified target audience, inclusive of any sub-segments, as well as the competitive landscape.
- Initiate creative development of marketing assets in partnership with internal and/or external creative partners by providing a clear creative brief, along with providing feedback and approval of final assets.
- Work with outside agencies/vendors to manage partnership, write/share briefs, provide creative direction and execute campaigns.
- Collaborate with Marketing Insights to leverage data and reporting to unlock insights and identify areas of improvement and adjustments to optimize campaigns in real time
- Define campaign KPIs and measurement needs, including both business and marketing success metrics and testing opportunities, to inform & support the Marketing Insights team in implementation & accuracy of campaign performance reporting.
- Lead test/learn strategies in conjunction with Marketing Insights and Channel Team to drive innovative and iterative learning.
- Initiate collaboration cross-functionally with relevant teams including the broader Marketing Team, Consumer Business, Product, Operations, Client Service, etc.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Bachelor of Business Administration with concentration in marketing, communications or related area
- 7-10 years of applicable experience
- 3-5 years of leadership experience
- Ability to perform detail-oriented work while understanding the larger scope of projects and how they ladder to marketing priorities
- Strong creative, analytical and problem-solving skill set, with the ability to identify new opportunities, while continuing to support existing areas of work
- Ability to multitask, collaborate and prioritize in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment while handling multiple projects
- Thrive within a team environment
- Ability to take constructive feedback and willingness to learn and experiment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working with Salesforce and Marketing Automation Tools
- Familiarity with various data and analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Salesforce, Google Ads, etc.)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; particularly, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
