Position Description:

This position would be responsible for procuring lending opportunities within a target niche focus to include originations, as well as but not limited to, processing applications, structuring loans, performing initial financial analysis, participating in due diligence, negotiating loan terms, and coordinating closings. Evaluates and makes initial credit recommendation with the goal of building and diversifying a high credit quality loan portfolio.

Essential Functions include:

• Manage a portfolio of commercial lending relationships including financial statement review, credit analysis, financial ratios, cash flow review, collateral analysis and overall deal structuring.
• Developing new business through proactive sales efforts.
• Develop relationship with potential borrower and manage relationship to point of underwriting.
• Act as front line contact with potential and existing borrowers to determine what documentation and information that will be required to process, underwrite, and close loan transactions.

• Able to independently handle multiple, complex transactions at a time with little supervision
• Responsible for structuring complex credits.
• Focused on generating sales through outbound and inbound calls, correspondence, and face to face meetings.
• Administrative duties potentially include production reports, strategic planning and training.
• Establish good working rapport and creditability with other coworkers by working with Processing, Underwriting and Servicing Personnel to ensure all loans are properly documented and processed.
• Demonstrate ability to be a value added, complimentary member of the team.
• Keep ahead of market trends in Registered Investment Advisor arena, ensuring that Oak Street Funding is at the forefront of changes and trends.
• Work with Marketing and Referral Partners as needed to maximize target efforts.

Compensation:

Base pay plus commission

Experience/Education/Critical Skills Required:

Proven experience, minimum 5 years Commercial Lending Ability to structure loans while accurately reviewing and assessing business risk through financial statements; ratio calculations; and credit review Knowledge of credit risk analysis and risk based pricing Strong business development and relationship management skills - detail and results oriented. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Organized with high level analytical and problem solving skills Bachelor's or Master's degree, or comparable business experience Strong PC skills. Ability to travel occasionally to prospective clients.
