Strategic Operations Intern

CLEAR interns solve real-world problems within collaborative teams of the industry’s most innovative technologists to build some of the world’s most advanced services and devices. CLEAR’s Strategic Operations team leverages technical and analytical expertise to measure performance and drive business results to optimize our CLEAR Plus lane experience. Strategic Operations partners with Aviation Operations, Finance, Business Development, and Product to create a frictionless and efficient member experience. CLEAR is looking for a Strategic Operations intern to utilize an analytical and operational efficiency mindset to improve our in-lane member experience. The ideal candidate can help blend data and operational process improvement techniques with a strong passion for service excellence.

You are currently enrolled full-time as a student pursuing a bachelor's or master’s degree and graduating anytime between December 2023 - Spring 2024.

What You Will Do:

• Assist with capacity planning and operational improvements by conducting time studies and observations.
• Use data analytics to identify and reduce member friction points across the network.
• Present recommendations and findings to leadership across the organization while ensuring effective communication of analytical information to non-technical audiences.
• Build relationships across a variety of cross-functional teams such as Airport Operations, Product, Technology, Finance, Member Insights, Member Care, and Marketing.

Who You Are:

• Prior work or academic experience in an analytical problem solving or process improvement role
• Indefatigability with continuous improvement mindset and proven ability and willingness to learn new applications, tools, and techniques
• Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with statistics and analytics tool (i.e. Excel, Google Sheets)
• Experience and/or interest in capacity analysis, conducting time studies, and data collection

The base salary range for this role is $25/hr, depending on levels of skills and experience.
