Strategic Operations Sr. Associate

• Propose, lead, and drive large-scale, strategic projects (including clarifying the opportunity, defining analysis, leading data collection, assessing findings and synthesizing learnings) to drive high impact across Dr. Squatch’s key goals and objectives encompassing a wide range of subject matter areas including Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Product, Marketing & Financial Operations
• Build processes, systems and tools (e.g. using MS Excel, Google Sheets, SQL) to support scaling of the manufacturing operation (e.g. inventory management, production planning & headcount planning, production tracking, budget tracking, etc.)
• Collect and analyze data to recommend continuous operational improvements
• Identify, prioritize, structure, and solve an array of complex business problems, using analytics and business judgment to grow the business or manage costs
• Oversee the compliance of ongoing operational processes
• Actively engage as a senior member of the Operations team, serving as a thought leader for each department and a close strategic partner to the rest of the business
• Create and present executive-quality presentations and write ups on large projects, initiatives, and explorations to promote cross-functional alignment, pitch new projects, share progress and impacts, or gain buy-in during times of hyper-growth and change
• Manage projects and timelines for mission-critical initiatives
• Ad hoc analyses including process design, financial/operational modeling and data analysis
• Working cross-functionally to develop well-rounded solutions and impact other Squatch functions
• Become a trusted advisor/source of truth for information in a fast-paced environment
• Be an all-around team player – as an operator in a growing start-up your responsibilities will constantly be growing and evolving

• Significant experience in a top management/strategy consulting firm
• Additional experience in a fast-paced, high-growth startup is a plus
• Additional industry based experience in an operations, supply chain, or a corporate strategy role is a plus
• Significant exposure to tangible operations work involving some aspect of a physical supply chain, either in management consulting, a startup or in industry
• People development and managerial experience, with direct reports, is a plus
• Bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in a quantitative field, such as Engineering, Science, Business Admin., Economics, Finance
• Effective and fast-moving - can efficiently determine which details matter and which do not, and then prioritize accordingly
• Highly detailed, organized, and structured problem solver
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Fast-paced learner and self-starter, comfortable operating in a startup environment
