This Position is REMOTE- Anywhere in the United States
As a strategic partner manager, you will develop and manage a select group of RA's strategic partners and third-party vendors to drive innovation, and speed to market. This role is an excellent opportunity to apply your industry knowledge to develop trusted partnerships with global technology and software companies in the rapidly changing manufacturing and industrial markets. You will rely on your leadership skills to develop the partnership vision and strategy in alignment with cross-functional RA engineering and business teams, and identify technology gaps and opportunities to develop value added joint solutions across RA's Connected Enterprise's portfolio of hardware, software, and service solutions.

The Strategic Partner Manager will execute the following tasks:
- Manage and grow assigned existing strategic partnership alliances and relationships
- Research, develop, and launch strategic business and technical initiatives aligned with corporate goals
- Create joint business plans and technical roadmaps with approved funding
- Deliver successful sales enablement plays for RA field, channel and partner consumption
- Engage and lead cross functional BU teams to deliver successful commercial contracts
- Develop efficient and highly effective communication strategies with field offices globally on partnering developments.
- Measure effectiveness of alliance programs by reporting joint selling activities and other appropriate economic value metrics.
- Coordinate joint marketing and sales activities and programs with alliance partner
- Create and manage joint target account selling by appropriate market segments
- Report partner development progress to the RA executive team on a regular cadence
- Facilitate "Best Practices" sharing between partner and Rockwell Automation Business Units
COMMERCIAL SKILLS:
- The ability to assess markets and opportunities and build long term strategies to accelerate growth - including build, partner, buy analysis, joint value propositions and go to market plans.
- The ability to sell complex global customer projects where team selling is necessary with multiple sales locations, Partners or Alliances, and Systems Integrators.
- Strong knowledge and ability to perform key steps in complex selling and business development cycle. In depth understanding of markets and channels globally
- Create and deliver presentations to diverse audiences from technical to business management to senior management within Rockwell Automation and Partners.
Basic Qualifications
- BS in Engineering/Business or equivalent
- Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
- Ability to travel 10-15%
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years' experience in industrial automation and information and software solutions
- 5 to 6 years of IT (Information Technology) experience is required. OT (Operational Technology) knowledge is preferred.
- Background in Sales and Product Management is required
- Basic IT Networking knowledge is required
- Basic Cloud Technology fundamentals is required
- Cisco CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate)) certification preferred
- Knowledge of Cybersecurity technologies preferred
- Microsoft Cloud Certifications (Azure Fundamentals) preferred
- SaaS (Software as a Service) business acumen is preferred
- SaaS and IaaS fundamentals-is preferred
- Demonstrated track record of successful revenue contribution and sales experience through indirect and direct channels of enterprise information technology including software (SaaS), hardware, and services
- Understanding and prior experience managing technology partnerships including, ISVs (Independent Software Vendors), cybersecurity providers, and network n the Microsoft Partner Ecosystem as a partner manager along with an existing network of contacts is highly desired.
- Familiarity with the Microsoft One Commercial Partner (OCP) program and tools is highly desired.
- Experience in aligning Independent Software Vendor (ISV) capabilities with Microsoft Industry Priority Scenarios is highly desired.
- Good understanding of technical, business operations and legal implications required
