The Strategic Partners business was founded in 2000 and has significant experience in providing limited partners a range of liquidity solutions across illiquid asset classes on a fair, timely and confidential basis. Strategic Partners is one of the most prolific secondary market participants in the world and is recognized as an innovative investor, with broad transaction capabilities that reinforce its established reputation as a nimble and responsive investor. Through its private equity, infrastructure and real estate platforms Strategic Partners has executed over 2,000 transactions that represent interests in approximately 5,200 underlying fund interests managed by over 1,600 different financial sponsors.

Marketing Coordinator

Job Description:

Responsibilities will include:

Fundraising:

  • Global responsibility for coordinating SP investor road shows with local coverage teams
  • Running onsite due diligence sessions and meetings
  • Liaising directly with LPs and coverage teams to coordinate meetings and agenda
  • Tracking meetings and noting any associated follow ups
  • Helping to draft and prepare briefing memos on investors and meetings
  • Creating, monitoring and updating lists of prospective investors in Salesforce for all fundraising and investor relations campaigns
  • Ownership of the indication of interest ("IOI") tracking across active fundraises, utilizing cloud-based solutions
  • Representing SP to broader Blackstone ICS teams as a key point of contact for SP ICS matters
  • Material preparation - create and manage processes to align with investment team, legal and other key stakeholders' members to ensure consistency in our materials
  • Helping with fund closing and LP management process in coordination with local coverage teams and legal; liaising with SP investor services and counsel to assist with any follow ups

Marketing / Other Processes:

  • Serving as a key point of contact for Blackstone public affairs to help manage SP's public information, media and other requests for SP senior management public engagement
  • Helping to manage SP's marketing efforts with respect to sponsorships and engagement with Blackstone's marketing team
  • Driving change via new technology initiatives and help create new technology-driven initiatives for fundraising and LP management
  • Driving the planning and execution of the annual meeting (agenda, logistics) and other investor events, in partnership with the Blackstone Events team
  • Assisting with any material preparation
  • Helping lead various branding and marketing initiatives, ad-hoc projects and new business initiatives

Investor Relations:

  • Liaising with investors and across Blackstone to help set agendas and drive process around ongoing LP engagement
  • Assisting with material preparation for investor meetings
  • Being a first point of contact for inbound investor questions and help triage responses across various constituencies
  • Coordinating with global Institutional Client Solutions professionals on LP priorities to help set meeting agenda and focus areas
  • Maintaining a master SP Marketing Calendar
  • Help draft and ensure meeting notes and follow ups are logged

Qualifications:

Blackstone seeks to hire individuals who are highly motivated, intelligent, have sound judgment, and have demonstrated excellence in prior endeavors. Candidate should be a team-oriented individual who thrives on challenge in a dynamic environment. The successful candidate must have:

  • 2+ years of marketing experience, preferably within finance industry
  • Conversant with digital marketing tools and strategies
  • Strong project management skills
  • Effective written and communication skills

Expected annual base salary range:

$95,000 - $125,000

Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.

Additional compensation: Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits offered in connection with the advertised role.
