The Amplitude Partner Ecosystem is a collection of the world’s best consultancies, agencies and technology providers. We’re looking for a seasoned Business Development and Partnerships professional to join Amplitude’s partnerships team and lead our strategic partnerships.Â
Who You Are:You are a professional who brings experience evaluating and identifying partnership opportunities and knows how to bring partnerships to life. You are seen as a trusted partner and have strong analytical and execution skills. You are able to work cross functionally with Amplitude’s Product, Marketing and Corporate Development Team to assess potential partnerships such as new opportunities to co-develop integrations, explore OEM, Product and Distribution deals.
In this role you will need a global perspective that can bring in long term strategic advantage for the Amplitude organization. You will spend significant time looking for synergies between Amplitude and possible strategic partners.Â

 As a Strategic Partnerships, Business Development Lead you will:- Be responsible for developing Amplitude’s strategic partnerships, with a goal of generating revenue for Amplitude. Â
- Develop and manage GTM plans that support Amplitude’s strategic objectives.Â
- Partner closely with cross functional teams such as, Product, Marketing, Corporate Development and Sales to evaluate companies for partnership.Â
- Research, source and analyze new partnership opportunities that support Amplitude’s long term strategy.Â
- Willingness to evaluate new partner models to drive and scale revenue from the channel.Â
- Create and maintain detailed analysis of potential strategic partnerships that help accelerate the growth of the business.
- Build relationships with partner executives to align on strategy and grow Amplitude’s sphere of influence inside the partner.Â
- Manage the cloud marketplace strategy to grow the total value of transactions generated and processed through the Marketplace.Â
- 7-10 years of experience in similar capacity, including; Partner management, business development, strategy consulting or corporate development experience.
- Proven success building and growing partnerships globally with large organizations, with knowledge of OEM, Distribution, Product or Integration models.
- Strong collaboration skills and experience working cross functionally with internal and external stakeholders.Â
- Strategic, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, with ability to operate at all levels of the organization
- Experience building and analyzing partnership business cases and financial modeling to size up opportunity.Â
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- An action-oriented, entrepreneurial, and innovative approach to work and a desire to succeed in a high-pressure environment.
- Works well as a part of a team.
