Strategic Planning Manager, Retirement Services

The Manager of Strategic Planning is a member of the FOCUS Team, which is responsible for creating organizational clarity and alignment through strategic initiative prioritization, governance, and analysis. You will serve as the Workstream Leader, bringing deep industry knowledge and a clear vision for future initiatives, ultimately improving the experience for ADP Retirement Services' clients.

Core Responsibilities and Skills Include

• Help manage and review the multi-year strategic planning process for RS.
• Develop a clear vision and strategic roadmap for the corresponding workstream
• Interpret internal and external business issues and recommend best practices
• Serve as the expert consultant throughout strategic initiative execution
• Use sophisticated analytics, including competitive and market intelligence, to identify innovative solutions and improve strategic assumption
• Establish and lead Workstream Governance to drive organizational alignment, remove roadblocks, and take action on
• Own pre-execution planning and research, ensuring the business has the right analysis for critical decision making
• Good understanding of technology and how it is used across the industry
• Work closely with Technology and Finance to prioritize initiatives based on Return on Investment (ROI) and Cost of Delay (COD).
• Experience in developing and evaluating strategies:
• Identifying and framing issues.
• Developing data driven hypotheses.
• Conducting market research.
• Understand analyses to test key hypotheses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree focused on analytics (e.g. Mathematics, Economics)
• 5 years' experience in the Retirement / Financial Services industry

Preferred Qualifications: Preference will be given to candidates who have the following:

• In-depth expertise in strategic planning, analysis, and research on financial products
• Familiar with financial statements
• Proven ability to make a meaningful positive impact for clients through strategic ideation
• Experience bringing employee / employer solutions to market
• Ability to communicate difficult concepts and negotiate with others to adopt a different point of view
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to propose solutions to complicated problems.
