Strategic Pricing Manager

Hempel, a global leader in coatings and paints, is seeking for your integrity to achieve are high-reaching goals, we are redefining the way we price, and you will play a key role in defining our segment pricing strategy. You will own a specific segment and work together with product management, R&D and sales to define the go-to-market strategy as well.

You will take full ownership of the pricing strategy for a key segment within our global portfolio, leading the development of our pricing landscape and implementing innovative solutions to drive profitability and market leadership.

This role offers you the outstanding opportunity to influence key business decisions and play a crucial part in our global success story. You'll thrive in a flexible work model, from Polinyà, Spain, reporting directly to the Head of Global Pricing Strategy.

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams ensuring cohesive decision-making.
• Analyzing market trends and optimizing pricing using pricing software, targeting to improve segment impact.
• Meeting and exceeding segment business objectives through strategic pricing initiatives.
• Implementing value-based pricing strategies that strengthen market position and customer satisfaction.

What do you need to be successful in this role?

• ​bachelor's or master’s degree in business, natural sciences, or a related field
• Validated pricing experience, with relevant knowledge in strategy development and value-based pricing methodologies
• Strong analytical and numerical skills
• Understanding of sustainability in a business context
• Proficient in English; additional languages are an advantage
