About the Role

St. Louis Missouri OR Remote

The Strategic Pricing Manager is a pivotal position in the pricing organization. This role will support Elsevier's Nursing and Health Education business unit. We are looking for an analytical, strategic and pragmatic pricing leader to join Elsevier.
This role will report to the Head of Pricing for Elsevier's Nursing and Health Education business unit.

Responsibilities
  • Design/Refining, develop and implement pricing and packaging strategies across books, digital learning, simulations, and assessment product lines
  • Leading strategic projects to identify long-term and short-term commercial opportunities
  • Driving pricing performance - establish policies, ensure pricing governance, etc.
  • Investigating test, and identify pricing/ monetization opportunities
  • Managing the annual price review process and own the master price list
  • Monitoring market trends/ developments with key competitors
  • Requirements
  • Possess Bachelors from an accredited university or college
  • Need to have established experience in pricing / revenue management / strategy experience
  • Show advanced Excel user skills; knowledge of predictive analytics tools.
  • Have the aptitude for research and analysis
