Your role: In this role, you would work closely with our Executive Vice President of Personal Lines Product Management (PLPM) on initiatives ranging from strategy and planning to special projects.
Your work:
- Be empowered to operate at a tactical, strategic and operational level, handling the oversight of projects that do not neatly fit within the organizational chart or that fall between departmental areas of responsibility.
- Impact the Product Direct Leadership team's productivity through streamlining strategic initiatives between departments and across the company.
- Improve and directly impact decisions and processes, and your work will increase the speed, efficiency and execution of product initiatives within the division and across the company.
- Assist with communicating priorities, activities and results to the larger organization, while ensuring deliverables are met. You will maintain a strong pulse and feedback loop on organizational needs.
- Work hand in hand with colleagues on the Technology, Finance, Strategy & Innovation, Customer Experience and Marketing, People and Community, Operations and Legal teams to achieve enterprise objectives and form core business initiative performance targets.
- Be nimble in helping to meet ad hoc business needs in an expedited manner.
- Influence and drive the priorities of the leadership team, including identifying opportunities to increase leadership team effectiveness.
- Drive shared alignment around strategy for the continued development and evolution of the Personal Lines Product division, assisting with forming a plan with clear goals and asks, executing and monitoring progress.
- Work with various business leaders and clients to understand required capabilities to achieve vision and to define programs and projects which will deliver the required capabilities. Partners with the business to prioritize a portfolio of projects which will achieve business strategies and imperatives.
- Conduct high level reviews of project charters and work plans, confirming appropriateness of project approach and that cross-functional work streams have been included to facilitate success in the delivery of project/program.
- Lead the integration analysis of project/program efforts to identify and address interdependencies of functionality, schedule and high-level change management issues. Facilitates understanding and management of cross-project dependencies.
- Identify delivery portfolio risks and issues and determines and implements corrective action to mitigate risks and potential impacts to the enterprise.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to all, recommending improvements on planning, new ideas, project delivery, business analysis, process design and execution.

- Ability to provide direction and perform responsibilities via influence (as opposed to line management authority).
Required Experience, Education and Skills
- BS/BA Degree in business, engineering, economics, finance, information technology, mathematics, physics or similar quantitative field or an equivalent combination of education and experience (preferred advanced degree in related area).
- 10+ years of consulting or related experience, including multi-year experience consulting on improving and optimizing business operations and processes and substantial interaction with senior executives.
- 10+ years of program/project management experience.

- Travels as needed for role, including divisional / team meetings and other in-person meetings Fulfills business needs, which may include investing extra time, helping other teams, etc.

The national average salary range for this position is $134,000-148,000. However, we have a location-based compensation structure. Our salary ranges vary and are calculated based on county of residence. The full salary range for this position across all the states we hire in is $121,000-$179,000. This role also includes an opportunity for a company-wide annual discretionary bonus, through our Annual Incentive Plan (AIP), of up to 15% of eligible pay.
