Summary:
The Coordinator is responsible for the oversight of all new or existing strategic pharmacy group implementations. This role facilitates end-to-end operations, process improvement identification, and executes action plans around employer group implementations. The incumbent is responsible for delivering projects and programs with quality, to plan, and in support of department strategy.
Essential Accountabilities:
• Plans, directs, and coordinates a matrixed teams' activities to manage and implement strategic pharmacy programs and revenue driving initiatives/projects for employer groups.
• Coaches and counsels members of cross-functional teams to accomplish projects, meet established schedules, or resolve technical/operational issues. Formulates contingency plans to address schedule revisions, manpower adjustments, fund allocations, and work requirements. Ensures adherence to legally binding requirements and customer long-term strategic goals. Controls project requirements, scope, and change management issues.
• Collaborates with other business units to identify, define, and implement improvement opportunities related to the project scope/progress. Continuously explores ways to increase efficiencies and productivity, reduce waste and costs, and support the program's value stream.
• Works closely with the business owners to understand the goals of the area/organization and assist executing the strategy to achieve business objectives. Oversees the content and breadth of requirements to ensure that business needs are being identified and met through the project lifecycle.
• Assists pharmacy, sales, and Lifetime Benefits Solutions (LBS) leadership teams with conducting internal, market, and competitive research.
• Consults, recommends, and implements changes to project management methodology and processes, including those that bring synergy to the strategic pharmacy initiatives; gains consensus amongst various groups to accept the changes.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Six or more years of project management or related work experience, or a combination of education toward a degree in a related field plus experience totaling five years.
• Knowledge and experience of health insurance industry and Health Plan business preferred.
• Prior experience managing projects and/or indirectly leading teams.
• Demonstrated skills in developing and achieving project scope, costs, and planning and implementing application and process solutions.
• Demonstrated skills in quality principles especially root cause analysis.
• Superior analytical, business process development, and problem solving skills.
• Demonstrated skills in conflict resolution and negotiation.
• Ability to apply process improvements to matrixed environments.
• In-depth knowledge of management structures and reporting procedures.
• Highly Effective communicator. Excellent written and oral communication skills (one on one as well as group presentation skills).
• Demonstrated ability to exercises good judgment and maintain composure and professional demeanor in the face of high stress situations that may include dealing with complex issues, aggressive and/or abrasive behavior.
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to work prolonged periods sitting and/or standing at a workstation and working on a computer.
• Ability to travel across the Health Plan service region for meetings and/or trainings as needed.
